Startstar Wire is an automated headline feed that pulls the latest stories from a fixed list of independent, high-reliability international publishers, refreshing roughly every 15 minutes. The goal is to show a headline alongside the context needed to judge it, not to replace the reporting itself.
Every headline carries two independent signals. The publisher credential reflects reliability ratings from established third-party media evaluators such as Ad Fontes Media, Media Bias/Fact Check and AllSides — not this project's own opinion of a source. The fact-check stamp is a live lookup against Google's Fact Check Tools API, which surfaces a verdict only when a professional fact-checker has already reviewed that specific claim. Most fresh headlines are honestly marked "Unreviewed" rather than guessed at.
The project is open source, built on GitHub Actions and GitHub Pages, with no tracking and no ads.
